PC3 was contracted to manage the schedule, cost and LEED compliance for the United States Navy Joint Regional Correction Facility at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station. A design-build project with LEED Silver requirements to meet the military’s Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection standards. PC3 planned and developed the design-build baseline schedule for design, construction and commissioning phases including LEED verification and compliance milestones. PC3 was able to expedite the approval of the baseline schedule which accelerated the start of the project. Created detailed cash flow and schedule projections used for reporting to NAVFAC on a monthly basis. Also created monthly executive summaries detailing progress and submitted to NAVFAC for report to the Executive Officer at MCAS Miramar. PC3 worked closely with NAVFAC on change order management to minimize additional cost and value engineer cost effective solutions. The Joint Regional Correction Facility at MCAS Miramar finished on-time meeting LEED silver requirements while complying with the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Act.
