PC3 was contracted to bring the $2 Billion Santa Ana River Flood Control project up to date using the latest Primavera Software and Earned Value Management System. PC3 was able to synchronize Primavera with the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS). The flood control project contained 6000 resource and cost events from over 4 years of untracked spending. PC3 was able to develop a streamlined system for tracking current fiscal year spending while proactively budgeting for upcoming fiscal years using earned value cost and schedule management. Analyzing department expenses and General Contractor costs, PC3 also developed an expenditure control plan for the Commanding Officer of the Los Angeles branch of the Army Corps of Engineers. Once the project was accurately updated, a critical path method was incorporated which allowed the Army Corps to project costs and level available resources. Upon completion of the contract PC3 was awarded a commendation from Colonel Morris.
